I’m Jess, married to Darren, mum to our fur-baby, Theo, architect and photographer. I am solar powered, animal obsessed, happiest at the seaside and wildly passionate about food, travel, creativity in all its forms and South Africa, the most beautiful country I have the privilege of calling home.

Family is everything to me, so having the opportunity to capture the love and connection families share, enhanced by the pure magic that children bring to that equation, sends my happiness levels skyrocketing!

My approach is relaxed and my aim is to capture glimpses of you and your family in a way that is real and honest and true to you. I’m after the perfectly imperfect, the fleeting moments, beautiful details, precious connections and big feelings.

As one of the most awkward people you may ever encounter in front of a lens, I understand that being the centre of attention is definitely not for everyone and that’s why my main aim is to make it as fun and laid back as possible. I want it to feel less like a ‘formal’ photography shoot and more like I’m popping in to capture a glimpse of whatever you and your family may be up to at the time. In this way, my hope is that you’ll be left with images that capture the magic of your everyday life as it is, the precious moments and little details you’ll want to treasure forever.
